Right now we are enjoying a week in Teton National Park. We come every summer to my Dad’s log cabin near Moose, Wyoming. His backyard opens to the Teton mountain range. Often during our visit, my Dad and I get up very early and he takes me around to shoot some photographs of this beautiful place. One of his favorite spots Hedricks Point. It was from this vantage point that overlooks the Tetons where Rockfeller caught a vision that led to his decision to buy and protect so much of this beautiful valley. My Dad, Robert Righter, has written many books and just came out with a new one that covers a more current history of Teton National Park. His older book, Crucible for Conservation covers the forming of Teton National Park. I was delighted that his new book included two of my pictures taken from Hedricks point!
