Every summer we have a summer theme at our house. When my kids were little our themes were more elaborate (scroll down in the family section if you want to see some of our past themes), but now it’s more inspiration and ideas to make your summer more rich and meaningful. Here are the last two summer themes that we have done. Maybe it will give you some new ideas as school ends and the summer months begin.

Small Adventures 
I love this idea. Thank you for sharing 🙂 Honestly, I feel a little lost how to approach summer this year. I’m not sure what my ‘philosophy of summer’ really looks like.
I wore the necklace you gave the MTL women to a wedding for an intern couple from SJSU this past weekend—Paul officiated. Perhaps the last SSU wedding we’ll be attending at this point. I wear it a lot but I was especially glad to just remember the idea of ’time’. Thank you for being so intentional with that gift. Right before the wedding I went to the P&C retreat in Newport and Daniel Curran was there. He was his normal encouraging self, and I missed you and Spud.
